The TWE Group will for the first time attend one of the world's most highly regarded medical conferences, the EWMA 2017 in Amsterdam, with its products from the Healthcare business unit. The European Wound Management Association (EWMA) was founded in 1991, and works to promote education and research in the fields of epidemiology, pathology, diagnosis, and the prevention and treatment of wounds.
It is an umbrella organisation that links wound management associations throughout the whole of Europe, and a multi-disciplinary group that brings together individuals and organisations working in the field of wound care.
In addition to its association work, EWMA also organises conferences and trade fairs such as the one in Amsterdam. From 3 to 5 May 2017, it will offer high level scientific presentations, networking activities and an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with international colleagues. New knowledge and best practise about the most recent research and treatment methods can be gained here.
The TWE Group will use this trade fair to meet with suppliers, present new wound management products and exchange experiences regarding wound care products. The previous EWMA 2016 in Bremen attracted almost 7,000 international visitors who gathered information about innovations in the field of wound care at more than 180 exhibition stands from 80 countries.
