We are very proud to announce that we are now a Signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. (UNGC)

The mission statement at TWE Group is characterized by the vision of sustainable corporate development. Our lived values are climate protection, integrity and social responsibility in addition to economic success. TWE Group is proud to have recently become a signatory of the UN Global Compact to support these sustainable development goals.
UNGC is the world's largest and most important initiative for sustainable business. The UNGC vision is an inclusive and sustainable global economy based on ten universal principles. Triggering change processes in companies and strategically anchoring sustainability along the entire value and supply chain is the goal. The core topics of these principles are human rights, labor standards, the environment and climate, and corruption prevention.

As a signatory, TWE Group is committed to integrating the UNGC and its principles into its corporate strategy, culture and day-to-day operations, and to working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan founded the UNGC in 1999 at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The initiative does not see itself as a regulation or standard, but as an open platform. Concrete solutions are then developed in the national networks. The board consists of high-profile multi-stakeholder members and is chaired by the current UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who is based in New York. More than 17,000 companies and organizations from civil society, politics and science in more than 160 countries have already joined the global values alliance. In Germany, TWE Group is one of 680 participants.

"This is another important step in our sustainability strategy for the future. For TWE, sustainability is becoming an integral part of our existence. Throughout our global organization, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be the driving force behind our strategy and mission," says Jörg Ortmeier, CEO of TWE Group.
